We hold on to the little things so tight, we haven’t for a hand free to grab hold of the BIG things God has for us.

Our comfort zone is where purpose goes to die. Nobody ever said “I only became successful after years of remaining where I was and doing the same thing everyday” because that’s not reality. We are so caught up on feeling good and never risking anything that we never get anything better than what we have always known. It’s true in every area of out lives! Look at someone that won’t leave a relationship that no longer serves them or grows them simply because they’re used to it and I guarantee they take the same approach in everything’s else they do.

That same old job, same old habits, same old anointing won’t get you God’s best. The moment you let go of what’s comfortable and place your desires at God’s feet, the sooner he can pluck you out of ordinary into extraordinary!

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 NASB)

We normally riddle this scripture off, I used this version which replaces substance with the word assurance because that’s what faith is… Assurance that God will! We may not know His plan and it may be frustrating to follow sometimes but we are to trust Him with ALL of our heart and NOT lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Therefore whether or not we understand what God is doing is irrelevant. The only thing that’s important is that we trust Him regardless.

Stop making a big deal of letting go of your little things! Let God show you the amazing things He has in store outside of your comfort zone!
